Acres
111
Town: Union
This 111-acre preserve creates a corridor of conserved land through Union along Sennebec Road and will provide access to a large tract of undeveloped forest and marshland. This property will be used as an outdoor classroom, so there are no formal trails planned on the property, but hikers and hunters are welcome to explore.
Stay tuned for an update on our parking lot and sign installation in spring 2027.
Conservation History
This preserve was purchased and partially donated by a local family that grew up exploring the hills and woodlands on the preserve and wanted to see it continue to be protected. This preserve was conserved with the support of local schools, including the Mid-Coast School of Technology, that plan to use the preserve for field trips and outdoor education.
