Women & Nonbinary Folks Trail Workday

Coastal Mountains and Georges River Land Trusts invite women and nonbinary folks to join us for a special trail work session on Ragged Mountain! This event is open to all trail skill levels -- tools, gloves, snacks, and drinks provided.

About the event
Join Coastal Mountains and Georges River Land Trusts for a special trail workday for women and nonbinary folks at Ragged Mountain. Led by women trails professionals from both organizations, this is a hands-on opportunity for people of all skill levels to work outside together. This session will focus on bog bridging and root removal on the Georges Highland Path on Ragged Mountain.
Please meet at the Georges River Land Trust Thorndike Brook Trailhead off of Rte 17. Please look for the large green Georges River sign and yellow event signs.
The work session will take place Wednesday, September 23 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. In case of rain, the event will be held at the same time on Thursday, September 24.
Participants should bring plenty of drinking water and wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Please bring work gloves if you have them. Extra pairs of gloves and tools will be provided.…
