About the event
The annual Owls Head Pumpkin Walk returns for the 5th year! Experience the magic of nearly 150 glowing Jack-o’-lanterns, carved or donated by friends, neighbors, and community members. These events are free and open to all ages. Halloween costumes are encouraged!
Previously held at Plaisted Preserve, the walks will now take place along the trails behind the Owls Head Transportation Museum. The Owls Head Conservation Commission is excited to partner with Georges River Land Trust and the Owls Head Transportation Museum to bring the magic back!
The walks will take place on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. No registration is needed.
On Friday, the pumpkin walk will be part of the Owls Head Transportation Museum’s Night at the Museum event. Learn more at owlshead.org/event/night-at-the-museum. Come in costume, explore the museum, meet characters from history, enjoy activities and candy, and help us give back to our community!
