About the event
Join Georges River Land Trust for an introduction to lichens, liverworts, mosses, and fungi at Gibson Preserve in Searsmont! Maine Master Naturalist Ama LaBelle will offer a guided exploration of the vibrant communities living on trees. We'll dive into this miniature world with hand lenses out on the trail if temperatures permit, or in the comforts of the land trust cabin if needed.
Registration is required. This event is free and open to all ages. Please contact maeve@grlt.org with questions.
In case of rain/snow this event will be held Sunday, March 15th from 1pm-3pm.
