About the event
The transfer of Haystack Mountain Preserve in Montville from Midcoast Conservancy to Georges River Land Trust will be finalized in June 2025. Celebrate the conservation of Haystack Mountain and its transfer from Midcoast Conservancy to Georges River Land Trust!
Join us at the summit to meet your local land trusts and pick blueberries. Bring your own picnic, a hand rake, and some baskets!
Parking is available at these locations: along the right side of Haystack Mountain Rd (this road is accessed from Rte 173 where signs may refer to it as Jacques Rd or from Rte 3) and in the lot behind the Vena M. Roberts Memorial Ball Field and Walker Health Center (43 W Main St in Liberty).
