About the event
Did you know you can fish in the St. George River all year long? Have you been curious about fly fishing, but don’t know where to begin? Or maybe you’re looking to freshen your casting and tying skills!
On Sunday, October 18th from 9am-12pm join Georges River Land Trust and Georges River Trout Unlimited for a beginner-friendly introduction to fly fishing, including hands-on fly tying and casting instruction. Learn about the Saint George River fishery and all its different angling opportunities throughout the year. All materials will be provided, just bring yourself!
This workshop will take place at Gibson Preserve in Searsmont. The preserve is located at 594 Woodsman Mill Rd in Searsmont. A large, green Georges River Land Trust sign marks the parking lot.
