About the event
Bobolinks are truly impressive songbirds with a totally unique song! Celebrate these beautiful birds and their return to Maine at our Breakfast and Bobolinks event. We'll be joined by author, photographer, and naturalist Don Reimer who knows all about bobolinks, their impressive migration to and from South America, and the crucial grassland habitat they rely on.
Bagels, fruit, pastries, and coffee will be available as we watch and listen for the bobolinks! We will walk about 0.3-miles from the parking lot to the gazebo along a mowed, mostly flat path.
This event is free, but space is limited! Please register to secure your spot.
We are thankful to our friends at Ag Allies for helping us monitor the nesting bobolinks at Riverview Hayfields Preserve. Photo credits to Tim Shaw for capturing this male bobolink at Riverview Hayfields Preserve last year.
