Rockland Bog Overlook

The Rockland Bog Overlook is a short hike to a beautiful viewpoint of the tucked away Rockland Bog. This trail is managed by GRLT along with the town of Rockland Parks and Recreation service.

Here you can walk down a winding trail with old, giant Oak trees towering above you. You can see mossy rock walls, babbling brooks and an ample amount of wildlife. This is an excellent trail for birders to catch glimpses of wetland birds.

From Rockland downtown, take Rankin Street up to Old Country Road. There turn left and then right onto Shere's Lane where you will quickly meet up with Mountain Road. At the end of Mountain Road take a right and you will soon see the brand new parking lot on your left.
