The Fort Point Trail extends down to the Georges River to a historic site of a fort from the Napoleonic wars. Now universally accessible with a 3 foot wide tread and frequent passing areas. Picnic tables and great views make it an excellent place to eat lunch. This trail is a collaborative project of the St. George Conservation Commission, St. George Historical Society, and Georges River Land Trust.
