This year COVID-19 presented the Georges River Land Trust with a clear purpose. People looked to their backyards, their parks, their nature preserves, and found much more than recreation. For many of us, being in nature became the best part of the day. The outdoors, which had always been there waiting for us, became essential to our mental and physical well-being.
For all of you who helped us through this crisis, we say thank you! Without your support, in the wake of a groundswell of public use on our trails and preserves, the Georges River Land Trust would not have been able to meet the demand.
