Salute to Luke Thombs

Lucky for us, Luke Thombs chose to fulfill his 6- month internship in the Maine Conservation Corps with us. Since the end of May, Luke has been an integral part of our team. He’s inspired us with his undaunted work ethic, his collaborative spirit and his ability to improvise creative solutions quickly and competently. He’s attended to deferred maintenance on so many of our trails, in addition to opening a new nature preserve and renovating two existing preserves.

In between he helped us renovate the Langlais Barn and made our social media more engaging. Now, we can’t imagine our work lives without him!
