Oral History About Langlais’ Time in Cushing

In collaboration with Meghan Vigeant of Stories To Tell, we are recording stories of Langlais’ time in Cushing from the people who knew him and visited the property. We were delighted to have Meghan at our grand opening of the Langlais Sculpture Preserve last September. She was all set up to record the oral histories of anyone who attended that day that had a story to tell about meeting Bernard Langlais or visiting his Cushing property while the artist was in residence.

The first installment of this series, a story by Dee Karnofsky, who modeled for Langlais and had many adventures with the artist, has been combined with historic photos of Langlais into a 2 minute video and has been added to our collection of videos about Langlais.
