New Coffee Supports Conservation

The Georges River Land Trust is announcing a partnership with Rock City Roasters of Rockland to develop a new coffee blend that supports the ongoing conservation work of the Land Trust.

“We are pleased to offer this special roast to the community, that also recognizes the good work of the Georges River Land Trust,” says Susanne Ward, owner of Rock City Roasters. The organic coffee is a bright, high toned medium roast with a rich earthy finish, perfect for an organization that stewards this special portion of the earth.

The coffee is available for sale at the Roastery (252 Main St.) and Café (316 Main St.) in downtown Rockland. The Land Trust will also be considering additional local outlets. With each sale, 10% of the proceeds will go to support the Land Trust’s conservation work, trails, land stewardship, and educational programs. The coffee is also available for purchase online at Rock City Coffee.
