Meg Moves On
Our Executive Director, Meg Rasmussen has recently resigned from Georges River Land Trust indicating that she wants to pursue other opportunities. Meg has been at the helm since 2018, the last two years helping us navigate through a pandemic.
Meg was the driving force in getting our 5-year campaign to Keep the Watershed Wild conceived and off to a roaring start. (You’ll be able to read about the specific progress we made when you receive your 2021 Year in Review in the mail in a few weeks).
Meg leaves a strong, energized team in place who will be carrying on the next phase of conserving an incremental 1,000 acres in the watershed. We will miss her, but in her spirit, we intend to not miss a beat on the plans GRLT has underway.
