The outdoor Langlais Sculpture Preserve is open to the public every day dawn to dusk. The woodlands, sculptures and shoreline are delightful to explore across the 30+ acres accessible to the public, including the 1/4 mile all accessible trail that winds around the outdoor sculptures.
The Langlais Barn and Studio will also be open Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 PM beginning on July 11th and running through the end of August, for people to see more of Langlais’ works and his creative process.
For those who need a little assistance, on the days the house and barn are open we have a wheelchair available to tour the 1/4 mile accessible path.
To open the buildings, we will be following the recommendations made by the Maine CDC for everyone’s safety and health.
- People will be required to wear masks when coming indoors to the studio and barn and practice physical distancing.
- Only four guests at a time will be allowed inside, unless they are a family unit.
- People from out of state are respectfully asked to have either quarantined for 14 days or been recently tested with negative results before visiting the indoor buildings at the Preserve.
We look forward to seeing you there and appreciate your cooperation.
