Wine Tasting- To Be Rescheduled.
March 5, 2017 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm$35 – $45
Join us to enjoy “l’heure bleue, a French wine tasting”, hosted by Georges River Land Trust, and co-sponsored by The Wine Seller in conjunction with Jack Scully of Easterly Wine. Spend Sunday afternoon, March 5, sipping fine French wines and enjoying accompanying charcuterie and hors d’oeuvres.
Loyal French wine lovers and new oenophiles will be enlightened during this magical twilight hour event, which the French refer to as “l’heure bleue.” From 3:30-5:30 p.m., guests will enjoy tasting notes and the stories behind some highly regarded, little-known wines from small, family-run vineyards from Jack Scully, who worked the Boston market as a sales rep for Ideal Wine for 15 years before starting his own distributorship, Easterly Wine. During this tasting, Scully will offer a variety of French wines that express their “terroir,” the French term for all of the geographical and climatic conditions that affect a wine’s character.
This is the first in a slate of events scheduled this year to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Georges River Land Trust.
Limit: 40 guests
This event will be rescheduled at a later date. Please call 594-5166 if you would like to be notified of the new date.
