Virtual Georges River Canoe Trail Excursion
March 18 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Executive Director Meg Rasmussen will guide a virtual expedition of the Georges River on Thursday, March 18, at 6:30 p.m., on Zoom in partnership with the Rockland Public Library. This event is free and open to all. Please email email@example.com to request a link to attend.
For everyone interested in canoeing and kayaking, Meg will present a photographic excursion highlighting access points, rapids, portages, and historical points of interest featured in our river trail map.
The St. George River flows through rich farmland, still forests, and seven lakes on its 51-mile journey from Lake St. George to Muscungus Bay, and boasts amazing opportunities to see wildlife along the way. Join Meg to start planning your paddling adventures for this year!
