Shorebird Family Quest

Join Georges River Land Trust and kids from the Lura Libby School for a walk along the Shorebird Quest trail in Thomaston. The fourth grade class will guide the walk and discuss the various shorebirds one might expect to see this time of year. Everyone is invited to bring a picnic lunch to eat on the shore of the St. Georges River after the walk. Binoculars will be helpful. Meet at the parking lot behind the Strong Insurance Agency on Route 1 in Thomaston, at the western edge of the Thomaston Green (former site of the Maine State Prison).
