Pepper Hill Farm Equestrian Tour

The horses at Pepper Hill Farm invite you for a meet and greet. Bring your family for a tour of the new four-season stable and riding facility set on 28 acres in South Thomaston. The Pepper Hill Riders will introduce you to a variety of horse breeds and demonstrate the various gates (walk, trot, tölt, and canter) of their family of Icelandic horses.
Icelandic horses are descended from Scandinavian ponies and are known for their spirited temperament and large personality. The Icelandic is a five-gaited breed, known for its sure-footedness and ability to cross rough terrain.
The horses look forward to meeting you and hope you will bring them a healthy treat! For the human guests, Chef Michael Salmon will be creating hors d’oeuvres from the farm gardens and orchard therefore tickets must be purchased in advance. For safety, all guests are asked to wear closed-toe shoes.
