Holiday History and Caroling
December 14, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
$25 – $35Hark!! We’re partnering with the General Henry Knox Museum in Thomaston, for an evening of holiday merriments. Anthony Antolini, Artistic Director of Down East Singers, will lead the group in singing traditional and modern carols in the Oval Room of Montpelier, a grand example of architectural elegance from the late 1700’s. Mr. Antolini will be playing his 1782 Longman and Broderip harpsichord, made in London, to bring a period flavor to the musical accompaniment.
Guests will enjoy festive desserts and holiday cheer while surrounded by the lavish holiday decorations at the Knox Museum. Bring an electric candle to add to the atmosphere!
