Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Monitoring Training

Join Georges River Land Trust and our partners at Waldo County Soil & Water Conservation District in the “Take a Stand for Hemlocks” program. Together we will learn about the invasive Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, how to monitor your woodlot and recommendations for management. This information sheet will help you learn how to identify to Hemlock Woolly Adelgid.

This event will be hosted at the Appleton Preserve in Appleton, parking on Rt. 105 from 10 am-noon. Please come prepared for the weather, ticks, and walking off trail.
