Annual Meeting Recording
What fun! We were happy to see so many members attend our Annual Meeting on Oct. 3 on Zoom. Even though we weren’t able to gather in-person this year, it was great to share some important updates and info with all of you! Watch the recorded presentations here.
Featuring:
“Keep The Watershed Wild”
Watch GRLT staff introduce the most ambitious five-year vision in the Land Trust’s history. With a lead goal of protection 1,000 acres of the highest priority landscapes by 2026, the vision focuses on ramping up our efforts across our conservation, stewardship and outdoor recreation programs.
“ScrapDogs Community Compost”
Our keynote speakers, ScrapDogs founders Davis Saltonstall and Tessa Rosenberry, shared their story of launching their community composting business in 2018. Along with their story, Davis and Tessa discussed why waste is such an important issue concerning conservationists, including how composting can help tackle the problem of emissions from food waste, and how focusing on soil health can add another beneficial climate lens for those concerned about local carbon cycles and future agricultural policies and practices.
