Volunteer With Us

Stew Crew
Looking to get your hands dirty? Join our Stew Crew! We host work parties on our trails and preserves. You’ll be involved with routine maintenance on existing trails or clearing new sections of trail that are under development. It’s a great chance to meet your neighbors.
Location: Varies each week across our portfolio of preserves and trails.
Time: 9-12, every Thursday morning

The HEAT
Want to help us in our battle against invasive plants? Our Habitat Enhancement A-Team (HEAT) protects the ecological diversity in our 20 preserves. You’ll be pulling, cutting and digging out plants that threaten our lands’ climate resiliency. This job is never ending and always a great workout.
Location: Varies each week across our portfolio of preserves and trails.
Time: 9-12, every Monday morning

Become a Stewardship Monitor
When we claim that we “protect lands forever,” we mean it.Georges River Land Trust cares for the lands in our trust with the help of stewardship monitors, year after year.

Stewardship monitors provide annual monitoring of farms, scenic sites, historic places, woodlands and shorefront properties that we hold as conservation easements. You’ll work with our staff and landowners and learn about the intricacies of the conservation process.

Local Ambassadors Needed
If you have a knack for meeting and talking to others, you can help us invite others to become caretakers for these places we love. We’re building a delegation of ambassadors who can represent our work to neighbors and businesses and all who want to get involved. We’ll provide the training, the companionship and the fun!
