The Georges River Land Trust (GRLT) is thrilled to announce the appointment of a new Director of Development, Tobin Malone. After a deliberate and thoughtful search, Executive Director Meg Rasmussen is pleased to have found a candidate with experience and enthusiasm for the position.
Tobin Malone comes to Georges River Land Trust from her position as Executive Director at The General Henry Knox Museum in Thomaston. Having worked with Knox Museum since 2011, she is looking forward to continuing her development career at the Land Trust. With an extensive background in local real estate, her knowledge of the local community will benefit the conservation efforts of the Land Trust, as will her marketing and programming expertise. GRLT is putting a new strategic plan in place this year, and Malone’s experience will be a valuable contribution to that effort.
A resident of Rockland, Malone has been active as stage director in a number of local productions, and also brings a love of the woods and water to her new position.
