Paddle the Georges River

July 28, 2016 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Free

Join past Executive Director and current Land Trust volunteer, Gail Presley, for an adventure on the middle section of the Georges River. Gail will lead canoeists and kayakers on an exploration of the extraordinary and undeveloped portion of the river south from White Oak Pond in Warren to the Middle Road bridge and back. The water here is calm and the shoreline is close enough to offer opportunities for diverse wildlife sightings. It is not uncommon to see eagles, turtles, herons, and sometimes beavers!

Bring your boat, paddles, PFDs, lunch, water, and binoculars. Registration is required; please contact us to register. Participants will be emailed directions to the meeting location in Warren.
