Paddle the Georges River
July 7 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pmFree
Join us for a boating adventure on the middle section of the Georges River. We will lead canoeists and kayakers on an exploration of the extraordinary and undeveloped portion of the river south from White Oak Pond in Warren to the Middle Road bridge and back. The water here is calm and the shoreline is close enough to offer opportunities for diverse wildlife sightings. It is not uncommon to see eagles, turtles, herons, and sometimes beavers!
We will meet on one of our private conservation easement properties at 2383 Western Road in Warren. Bring your boat, paddles, PFDs, lunch, water, bathing suit, and binoculars. We have a few canoes and equipment available if you don’t have your own boat, so contact us by email or call 594-5166 to reserve a spot.
